On December 3, 1721, the 36-year-old Johann Sebastian Bach married Anna Magdalena, 16 years his junior, after losing his first wife the year before.
Anna, an attractive soprano who was performing at the court, eventually became the mother of 13 children. From various impressions and clean copies of works written for the husband whom she loved with all her heart, we gather the image of an earnest, devoted wife and a lovable, amiable person.

That image of Anna is superbly brought to life by the well-loved book, "Die kleine Chronik der Anna Magdalena Bach." Won't you pay a visit to the Bach's, a house full of love and music?
