We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ATM's Accounting Section.
The section is responsible for such tasks as financial management, budget planning,
receipts and disbursements, the operation of the ATM Ticket Center, systems management, and public relations for ATM via the World Wide Web (Japanese and English).
The range of work carried out by the section is quite broad:
while some of its duties are both rigorous and meticulous,
other tasks require a sophisticated and advanced frame of mind.
Just like ATM itself, the section is full of unexpected surprises.
The section comprises five staff members, including the chief.
Not only do they carry out their required duties as outlined above,
but add a little extra effort to make work more interesting.
Their hobbies encompass a wide spectrum of fields:
general sports, motor sports, art, rock music, ballet,
flower arrangement, historical travel, and people watching.
The breadth of their interests is reflected in the way they work:
flexibly, energetically, and driven.
Because the section's role is handling money,
its location within the ATM office is both hard to find and hard to get to.
Nonetheless, we welcome guests.
